Personal Statement

Attorney Sarah Lachman was born and raised in Hampton Roads, Virginia. She is passionate about the resolution of immigration matters and works tirelessly to obtain the best possible results for each one of her clients.

Whether it is avoiding deportation, working with survivors of torture and abuse, reuniting families, or bringing more international talent to the United States, Sarah is passionate about helping individuals, families, and businesses find legal solutions to their immigration matters. Sarah has developed a reputation for providing the highest quality representation to each one of her clients. She handles her cases with the utmost precision, compassion, and caution.

Moreover, Sarah is fluent in Spanish and is a member of the American Immigration Lawyer Association (“AILA”) where she stays up-to-date on the latest developments in U.S. immigration law.

Experience

Attorney Sarah Lachman is a trial lawyer with substantial experience handling removal/deportation, asylum, and business-immigration matters. Early in her legal career, she held an internship at a prominent local immigration law firm. There, she gained various hands-on experience with the firm’s immigration matters. After passing her bar exam, she opened her own law firm in New York City where she currently works as an immigration attorney. There, she handles the full gamut of immigration cases and works in various immigration courts nationwide.

Today, Sarah is also an "Of Counsel" immigration attorney at Huff Law where she utilizes her charismatic litigation skills to obtain the best possible result for each one of our clients — both in and out of the courtroom. She concentrates her practice solely in U.S. immigration law. Since U.S. immigration law is federal law, she is able to handle U.S. immigration cases from any state or country in the world. Sarah is known for her experience handling complex removal/deportation, asylum, and business-immigration cases.
